Ingredients
  • 1 glug Good quality cooking oil (I prefer cold pressed rapeseed oil)
  • 1 head Red Cabbage
  • 1 glug Gusto Garlic Balsamic
  • 1 grind Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper

Instructions
  1. Remove outer leaves of cabbage and shred remaining cabbage finely
  2. Heat oil in a large bottomed pan
  3. Toss shredded cabbage in oil for a couple of minutes
  4. Add GUSTO Garlic Balsamic and seasoning
  5. Place lid on pan, and turn down heat and leave for 40 mins, or until tender
Recipe Notes

The most delicious side dish to accompany the less common celebration choices like goose or duck.  Also works as festive side dish to salmon or other oily fish, for the non meat eaters.  Personally, I love it with turkey.
