Ingredients
  • 500 grams Brussel Sprouts trimmed, outer leaves removed
  • 50 mls Gusto Garlic Balsamic
  • 30 mls Good quality cooking oil
  • 6 cloves garlic Whole cloves, crush slightly with base of hand
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 1 pinch Good quality salt
  • 2 grinds Black pepper

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees centigrade
  2. Trim the brussel sprouts of their stems and rough outer leaves, slice in half.
  3. Put all the ingredients in a large bowl and toss to coat the sprouts evenly.
  4. Pour the coated brussel sprouts onto a lightly greased baking tray, and spread evenly.
  5. Roast in the oven for approx 25 mins, turning once, until tender.
  6. VARIATIONS: Add some good quality bacon or pancetta, slice up into lardons and toss into bowl with rest of ingredients, before baking.
  7. Try with GUSTO Raspberry Balsamic or GUSTO Peppercorn Balsamic for different flavour profiles, especially if not a fan of garlic.
